It's unbelievable simply because what might happen in a small town say once every 25 years happens in Banshee every week. Brilliant show though, but ended at the right time.

It's good because it's so bad. Mace has it spot on with the fella who plays hood - he's terrible. Fight scenes are ridiculous. The way they cut between scenes from different timescales just doesn't work. They've tried too hard to be stylish and get it horribly wrong. That Rebecca is a cracker though, and there's some great music on it.

Very entertaining but also very unbelievable.
The most unbelievable part being the fella who plays Hood. Just doesn't look the part at all, looks like he's gonna crack a massive gurn at any minute, walks like he's shit himself and is on the verge of tears far far too much for an all action hero.

Can't say too much as I know the likes of JONESY aren't up to date yet, but the tear up between Proctor main man and the Longshadow bird was quality.
Proper couple of hard cunts and I think that bloke is a superb character along with his boss.
Poor old Hood must be gutted when he reads the scripts and sees what bird has her tits in his face on that days filming.

Completely agree. When this was introduced I automatically assumed at first that the story was linked in some way to a previous story, but no it was completely fresh. In a shortened final season with a lot going on with existing characters and storylines why they thought this was a good idea is anyones guess. A waste, and valuable time lost on brining other characters/plots to a deserving climax. That aside, this is a must watch for anyone.

It's the latest in the 'Tits and Ass' strategy most of the TV networks are ploughing through (no pun intended). Game of Thrones started this.
Orange is the new black had the most use of the word 'vagina' than any other TV series.

I actually think the last season was the best of them all, there's a big tonal shift with less OTT fight scenes that last 20 minutes and less sex scenes. It was nice to see some actual dialog and character development. The serial killer subplot was a little unnecessary though.
Season 4 did lack Siobhan and Nola Longshadow.

Just finished season 3 and am glad that we are getting a bit more of Hoods back story, recruited from the army, Jobs hacking history.
As already said the story has run its course!

Awesome show, Hood is simply awesome , the man has a screw loose. Proctor character is done very very well as well. The big fuck off Indian was pretty good to and now we have the Neo Nazi's in it, just a top top show.

Watched all 8 of the last series via Sky box sets over the weekend. Was an enjoyable show, but probably ran it's course.
